Alejandro ("Alex") Garcia is an insurance coverage attorney and appellate advocate. He represents policyholders in complex, high-exposure disputes in state and federal courts involving coverage under professional liability, directors and officers, commercial general liability, residential and commercial property, cyber, and marine cargo policies.
Alex conducts policy reviews and risk assessments at inception and renewal for businesses, professionals, and property owners to identify vulnerabilities before a claim arises. When coverage disputes develop, he manages matters from pre-suit claim presentation and coverage analysis through trial and appeal. He has tried cases to verdict in state and federal court, recovering millions of dollars for his clients.
He has appellate experience in insurance coverage and other complex civil matters before Florida's District Courts of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, including oral argument before Florida's Third District Court of Appeal and the Eleventh Circuit.
